Elevate Account Safety with 2FA

🔐 Keep Your Alph Wallet Safe with 2FA

In the crypto world, security is everything. That’s why Alph uses Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) with Google Authenticator — adding an extra layer of protection to keep your account and crypto assets safe.

Why 2FA Matters?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a security method that requires two forms of verification before granting access to your account:

  1. Something you know: Your password.

  2. Something you have: A temporary code sent to your phone or generated by an app.

By requiring both elements, 2FA makes it significantly harder for unauthorized individuals to gain access to your account, even if they know your password.

How to Enable 2FA on Alph AI?

It only takes a few minutes to set up:

  1. Log into your Alph account.

  2. Go to the Account Security page.

  3. Click “Bind Now”.

  4. Download the Google Authenticator app from:

  5. Scan the QR code shown on the Alph screen.

  6. Enter the 6-digit code from the app into the field.

  7. Done! Your account is now much more secure.

🕒 Note: After enabling 2FA, withdrawals will be locked for 3 hours for security reasons.

Lost Access to Google Authenticator?

Got a new phone? Accidentally deleted the app?

No worries — you can reset your 2FA by submitting a quick verification form. Once your reset request is approved, you can rebind your account to a new Google Authenticator app.

🕒 After resetting or unbinding, withdrawals will be locked for 24 to 48 hours to protect your account from unauthorized access.

Withdrawing Funds: What to Expect?

Before withdrawing, you’ll be prompted to enter a 2FA code.

🚫 Entering the wrong code 5 times in a row will freeze your withdrawals for 2 hours. ✅ Entering the correct code will trigger the withdrawal, and you’ll see links to track your transaction via:

⏱️ If the transaction takes too long (15 seconds), the system will notify you that there might be a network or balance issue.
